Making Every Rupee Count

Financial literacy is rarely taught where it matters most. In collaboration with SochHaus, EconEd conducted Making Every Rupee Count, an interactive workshop for students from Grades 8-10 at Zilla Parishad High School, Visakhapatnam. Through hands-on activities and real-life budgeting challenges, students explored the difference between needs and wants, the value of saving, and how small financial decisions shape future opportunities. More than a workshop, it was a conversation about confidence, responsibility, and empowering young minds with practical life skills.
